Leave your writer's block at home!  Join us for the monthly Mini-SLEDGEHAMMER Writing Contest! You'll be given four prompts, and 36 minutes to work them into a piece of impromptu short fiction. Stories will be judged, and winners will take home prizes. We'll provide notepads and nibbles, though you're welcome to bring your laptop. This event will start promptly at 7, so arrive a little early to fix yourself a plate and get energized to write.  Winners receive a St. Johns Books gift certificate, discounted tuition for Indigo Editing's writing classes, and lifelong bragging rights.  We would like to thank our partner, Indigo Editing, for cosponsoring this event!
