Local author and illustrator Kara Skye Smith presents her recently published abecedarius, populated with black-and-white silhouette images of fanciful wings.  Kara will read at 10am, 11am, and noon.  After each reading, she invites children to join her in creating fairy-inspired art.

This event takes place at the Shur-Way Sprout Corner, the children's activity area in the St. Johns Farmers' Market.  Located at the northwest corner of the U-Bank parking lot, the Sprout Corner is staffed by volunteers from a rotation of local businesses and community groups.  It presents a different activity for children each week, along with a quiet space and nursing area.
